The junior and senior high parent teacher conferences are still on for this evening from 3-7 pm. if you are traveling this morning, drive safely!

The Blue Ribbon Breakfast has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 25 at 7:45 a.m. Students who have all As and Bs and who have not had a write up during the first semester are invited to attend. Students who qualify received a letter last week. We look forward to celebrating your child's success with you on Thursday!

Good morning, Northwestern Junior and Senior High families. This is a reminder that parent-teacher conferences are this Thursday from 3-7 pm. Conferences will be held on a walk-in basis, so no prior appointment is necessary. If one of your child's teachers are unavailable for an point in time that evening, they will be reaching out prior to Thursday night.
There will also be an 8th grade parent meeting to discuss scheduling at 5 pm. Additionally, there will be a College Credit Plus re-cap at 6 pm.
Both meetings will be held in the cafeteria.

Students who had all As and Bs for the 1st semester and no write ups for the 1st semester are invited to the Blue Ribbon Breakfast on Friday, January 19 at 7:45 a.m. Students received invitations if they qualified today. We will reschedule the Blue Ribbon Breakfast to Thursday, January 25 if we are closed or have a 2 hour delay on Friday, January 19. Take care and stay warm!

A full presentation will follow at 6:30 with a break out session for Northwestern students after the full presentation. We will have a CCP recap for families who can not attend tomorrow on January 25 at 6 pm in the Jr./Sr. High Cafeteria.

Mark your calendar for the annual College Credit Plus (CCP) meeting! There are two meetings this year. The County wide meeting is January 10 from 5:30 - 8:00 at the Kuss Auditorium. This will be a full meeting with college representatives available. We will host a CCP re-cap on January 25 in the Northwestern Cafeteria at 6 p.m.

Attention Seniors! The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be open on December 31. In the meantime you can set up your personal FSA ID. Many scholarships require you to fill out the FAFSA regardless of your income. College financial aid representatives are great resources if you have questions. Go to fafsa.gov for more details.

Good afternoon parents and guardians! This is a reminder that the exam week early release forms that students received on Monday are due tomorrow to the guidance office. Junior high students received purple forms, and high school students received green forms. These forms must be signed by a parent/guardian if your child will be leaving early. The Scholastic Book Fair is all set up and ready for students in the Junior/Senior High School Student Union. Students can plan to shop this week and it will also be open during Parent Teacher Conferences! Please stop down and find a great book or two among other fun items offered. Our librarian, Mrs. Elfers, can't wait to help you find something great to read!
