🥽 Virtual Reality is a great way to bring math to life!
💠Students in Algebra 1 recently used Prisms of Reality to learn the way our brains were wired, experientially!
💠Prisms is a new world spatial learning platform that enables learners to grasp abstract math concepts in a delightful, meaningful and efficacious way. In Prisms’ learning modules, students gain a deeper understanding of important (and fun!) problems in our world today, while accelerating proficiencies in core concepts.

💡Junior High students in Careers recently had to problem solve to develop an idea and turn it into an elevator pitch to solve the mock community concern of creating a community that will attract and retain people between the ages of 20-35.
⚖️Students had to research what a thriving community looks like that has a lot of job growth to sustain potential residents seeking a comfortable salary.

Last week, fifth graders took a trip to Snyder Park to participate in an annual act of conservation by releasing the trout they have been raising in Mr. Frabotta's classroom.
Trout in the Classroom is a program that allows hands-on STEM education by connecting students to their local watershed. The program allows students to see first hand the life cycle of the salmonids, care for the animals, connect with their ecosystem, and become good stewards of the watershed in their community.
For more about the program, please visit https://www.troutintheclassroom.org.
