Good evening Northwestern Community, This afternoon, we received information from the Safer Ohio School Tip Line that they received an anonymous tip that a Northwestern High School student had threatened a bomb attack on the school.  The tip gave no details of the attack and no date of the attack was given.  The Northwestern Administration, School Resource Officer and the Clark County Sheriff's Department investigated the tip and found no relevance to the threat.  We take all these situations very seriously.  The safety of our students and staff is our priority.  We will continue to work closely with all law enforcement agencies and will continue to be vigilant. As always, if you or your student see something, say something!  The Safer Ohio School Tip Line is available 24/7 via call or text at 844-723-3764.

Elementary students learned that 📚 Books are Magic 🪄 as we had a special guest, Doug Scheer. It truly was a 'Scheer' Magic Show! Doug entertained students by weaving magic tricks into a tale about all of the genres on his Magic Bookshelf. He also encouraged students that when they have problems to check out a book at the library. Thank you, Doug! ✨ To find out more about Doug and his show, check out his website: http://www.dougscheer.com/
